HOW TO USE:
Not sure on how to create a bootable CD from an ISO?

If you do not know how to create a CD from an ISO CD image then do not WORRY
You can either by the diagnostics already pre written to a CD

OR

Buy the electronic version and we will help you create the CD
We have detailed instructions and free software to do this for you (upon request)
Creating the bootable CD
Note: You must have access to a CD-R or CD-RW drive, and CD-R/RW writing software that is capable of creating a CD from an ISO image, and a blank CD-R or CD-RW media. Start Windows.
Save this ISO file onto the hard drive.

Start your CD-R/RW writing software's feature for creating a CD from an ISO image. Refer to the help provided with your CD-R/RW writing software for further assistance.
Select the CD ISO image file located in the folder where you extracted the package to in step 2
Create the CD.

Diagnostics procedure

Turn off the system.

Make sure the CD-ROM/DVD drive which is supported as a start-up device for your ThinkPad is attached to the system.

Turn on the system.

While either of the following messages is displayed at the lower left area of the screen, press the F12 key to display the boot menu:
Note: If a password prompt appears, type in the correct password.

Insert the diagnostics CD into the CD-ROM/DVD drive.

Press the cursor keys to select either of the following devices, and press the Enter to start the diags:
Follow the instructions on the screen.
After performing the diagnostics, remove the CD from the CD-ROM/DVD drive and turn off the system.
